Subject: Nose Gear Disconnect & Shimmy Damper

Models Effected: S-6 & S-16 Trike Configurations

Nose Gear shimmy may occur if Nose Gear Disconnect components become worn.
Inspect the 3/8” Steel Roller Bushing for grooving at every oil change. See FIGURE 1.
Check for play between Steer Cam and Roller Bushing. Replace affected parts if play
or wear is detected.
