RANS S-7 Courier by Beven Dryden

Dear Randy,

Please find attached a couple of photos of my Courier. My kit arrived in Australia on the 10 Sep 99 and the aircraft first flew on the 27 November 99. This represented a build time of just on 11 weeks of weekends and nights before 1100pm. You will notice the aircraft is fitted with a Jabiru 2.2 lt engine. This gives a 800 f/p/m rate of climb one up and full of fuel and 500 f/p/m two up and full of fuel. The aircraft cruises at 85 kt (100 mph) at 2850 rpm with a fuel burn of 4.2 G/P/H . The Jabiru was supplied as a firewall forward kit which included, Engine complete with exhaust and electric start, engine mount, cowls, propeller, spinner, hot air box and all associated hardware. ($8700.00 US approximately) They also make a firewall forward kit for the Rans S6.
