Paul O'Neill's S-12S

  The Airaile kit arrived in January of 2000 - it was a quick build (I'm 75 years old) and a first time project for me.
  I worked on it mostly afternoons or evenings for two years with three months off for travel.  The plane was very well defined - everything fit properly, and the factory support was excellent! My wife Kari was also very supportive.
  My build time was +700 hrs.  The first flight was 5/30/3 - only a couple of adjustments and the plane flew beautifully with the 912S - 100hp Rotax, 5000 RPM=90-100 MPH.
  Pretty plane - great fun! Experience of a lifetime!
