N69YB was signed off for test flights on September 10, 2001.  After a 1-hour flight that afternoon we were grounded for nearly two weeks because of the closed airspace.  We have now flown for 60 fantastic hours.  "Yellow Bird" is equipped with the normal, plus heater, landing lights, a fully lighted panel, vacuum driven attitude and heading indicators, tundra tires, mode-c transponder and in-panel radio.  Thanks to Randy, Paula and especially Ed for the support and technical advise as well as the fun airplane.  It took 600 hours to build "Yellow Bird" but the result was worth every minute.  I need to get some flying time in now before I order a 6.
