Mark Wagner's S-6S

My RANS S6S first flew October 11/02.  It performs well with the Rotax 912.  Cruise speed is 100 mph, it stalls clean at 40 and with full flaps at 34 mph.  The floats are Aerocet 1150 and the gear retraction system is air operated.  I built N528MW in 18 months and about 800 hours.  The covering and painting are the most time consuming.  This was my second RANS S6S project.  The plane is a lot of fun to fly and I am looking forward to exploring the many lakes in northern Wisconsin.  I would like to say thanks to RANS for their great products and say a special thanks to Ken Smith for his answers to the many questions and his help with the float mounting
