For those who have been following my construction of a Rans S6ES Coyote II with an Aerovee 80hp motor I get to say that today it passed the FAA Airworthiness inspection and is now authorized to fly!!!!!  I am not going to fly right away, I have some family medical issues to deal with, and need more practice before I am comfortable enough to start the test flying phase.  It has been a fun project, and as with most homebuilt aircraft there will always be something to work on, but at least it is now an aircraft, not a pile of parts resembling an aircraft!!!!!

 

To all who provided help, or tech assistance, or just took the time to talk planes  I just want to say thanks!!!!
