In flight the S-7S has a low dash line that results in a spectacular over-the-nose view. With 60" of side windows and full skylight on top, the great view continues. There are so few blind spots on the S-7S; it has superior visibility compared to some pusher types.

Narrow but roomy describes the S-7S fuselage, and it is a big part of why this plane scoots along at 100kts or more. We take full advantage of the 912 ULS engine being only 24" wide. In fact, the widest point is the midway on the doors, 30" at the elbows.

Banking is a joy; the spades cut forces in half, reduce adverse yaw, and increase roll rate. This plane is fun to crank and bank, offering the right feedback and pressure to keep it enjoyable and well mannered.

S-7S kits are very complete; we supply to a level beyond other kits. This makes the building process more effective since you are building, not hunting up parts. In the end you have a plane in the air faster and more professionally built. Within a year most builders are flying. Over 95% of RANS kits are completed by the original buyer. Build-ability by superior design, packaging, quality and attention to detail is what a RANS kit is all about. It is now available in several sub kits, so getting started has never been easier.

A nice nose to put first, the S-7S cowling hugs the engine in a clean low drag package. A joggle seam allows it to join the fuselage minus the traditional overlapping.

Big doors, wide stance gear, lots of room for real sized people; the S-7S is "real plane".

Comfy seats, which adjusts fore and aft, add to the utility of this wonderful plane.

Good old N11632, having served as a test bed for most all the certification changes and a photo mount for many cover shots for several magazines, this plane is still doing demo duty and in prime form.

At home, on turf, or pavement, or even that improvised strip, the Courier will take you to that next aerial adventure with style, comfort and performance beyond the classic expectation.

Topside visibility is second to none.

In flight the S-7S has great hands off stability. Trim it level and hold a heading with a gentle tap of the rudders.

Up front is the dynamic 100 HP Rotax 912 ULS. All the parts required to install the engine are included in the engine install kit. This is an extensive list of items and assures your engine installation will have every chance of being on par with our certified installation.

A little panel goes a long way. Fully decked out and ready for the boot cowl, the panel can be totally wired and checked prior to installing the boot cowl. A great way to build: open with easy access.
