RANS has successfully tested a new Bush tailwheel assembly suitable for off field use. Using an 8” pneumatic wheel and double prong fork, the tailwheel is 1.5 pounds lighter over the previous 8” Bush tailwheel offering. Constructed of heavy wall aircraft cro-molly tubing, and expertly T.I.G. welded, then powder coated, this unit is built to last. The steer head features the full swivel lock to steer system with a hardened cam pin for increased longevity. This version is what is provided when ordering our Bush tailwheel option. The new tailwheel sales for the same price as the previous model, how about that, a weight savings of 1.5 pounds and no price increase, talk about doing more with less!
