Hey guys... FINALLY (slow build I know!) up to this on the wings... I have 120 degree dimple dies, but I have a collection of bloody 100 degree countersink cutters for the micro-stop cage (Avery #30 x 3/8).... Before I go and buy some 120 degree ones... Would the 100's work? I have read that it can....

I got my Microstop from henchman tools back in april last year as it was cheaper than spruce by a long way. The std tool set seems to supply 100deg bits. The 120deg is a special order otherwise you need to get that 120deg bit kit from spruce
Thanks mate - yeah... Brown Tools have a sale on at the moment, which helps offset the ex rate a bit.... yeah mine was a Spruce kit too....
Jason my Microstop had the 100 deg bits but I bought the bits only in a kit from spruce. The rivets are 120 deg so the dimpler and of course the countersinks need to be the same. The 100 deg countersinks will create a too deeper hole ...best to get the right bits for the microstop. The only reason I know this is Rodger who got the S20 in up here with my kit he had the same issue and so he had to go to the next size 100deg rivets. So I looked at my microstop kt I got locally here and found the std set supplied 100 deg. Spruce had the kit of 120 deg for about US$50 I think
