I have a S21 tailwheel kit and i'm using a carburetor O320 ,I don't plan on using the header tank and cosidering installing a low point sump drain, I plan on the low point drain to be in the location were the heather tank would be installed ,a small manifold that will have a bottom quick drain exiting the bottom skin, the manifold would have ports for right and left fuel lines , fuel line forward to stock fuel valve location, ( I had a Citabria with a low point drain and was a preflight check item) the S21 is my third build with the latest one being a scrached built Bearhawk Patrol, I plan on running this by qualified A&P mechanics as when modifying a proven fuel system one must insure that it has a good out come, this is not something that I will just throw together it must be a installation that is thought out design and installed correctly.----- Now I shared this as a topic that I wanted to share for other to evalueate, Tom in Omaha.
I have a recently purchased S7 short tail that is running 244 F oil temp. Rotax wants 230 max.
Has anyone got a good solution to this problem?
Thanks
