Mine ended up with an incredibly small gap at the point.
Water invasion was my concern. So I squeegeed ProSeal under pressure to fill the gap.
Any thought about the baggage area being pressurized with the doors open in flight being the cause of chipping? I may place a bead of ProSeal from the inside for additional support.
It left a fine line where we assumed there was movement, it was a very small chip, perhaps 1/2" long. We are not altering our demo aircraft, or the ones already assembled and painted.

Dang! I have my fuselage in the paint booth. That’s a whole lotta tearing apart for 4 rivets.
Did paint actually chip?
