When i have positioned one of my hinges (i only checked one), on the Trim tab for predrilling, i noticed the the location of the new holes on the hinge will be within about 1 hole diameter from the edge of the hinge. Is this correct? If not, what are my options, the location of the holes in the FWD Spar of the trim tab dictate the location of the holes to be pre-drilled in the hinge. Thoughts, solutions?

Understood, thanks
Tom is correct, sighting straight down, shoot for the leading edge of the trim tab to split the hinge pin down the middle.
Hi John,
recheck your instructions and drawings. I believe the hinge “pin” should be split in half when looking straight down on this. Yours are 1/4 inch off or so. There are multiple places to look on the drawings. Notice on Ed’s picture the pin lies in the middle of the bend.
Hi John, your holes should be more
towards the center as Tom confirmed
Your holes as marked are too close to the edge. Mine ended up more in the middle, centered on the hinge flange. Take a lot of time on these, use a straight edge laying on the skins and use some weights too. I ended up redoing the outside hinges because the tab was not flush with the skins after riveting.
